1. Medical Visa (M-Visa) Compliance

International patients entering India for healthcare must travel on an official Indian Medical Visa (M-Visa) or valid e-Medical Visa. Nirogyam facilitates the issuance of hospital invitation letters recognized by the Government of India. Traveling on a standard Tourist Visa for planned tertiary surgery is strictly discouraged and may violate immigration regulations.

2. Medical Attendants and Family Support

Under Indian immigration guidelines, up to two family members or companions may accompany an M-Visa holder on Medical Attendant Visas (MX-Visa). Nirogyam ensures attendant lodging, local transit, and dietary arrangements are coordinated alongside patient hospital admissions.

3. Translation and Informed Consent

Patients have the fundamental right to understand their medical treatment in a language they speak fluently. Nirogyam arranges qualified translators (Arabic, French, Russian, Bengali, etc.) to assist during clinical discussions, hospital consent documentation, and discharge instructions.

Controlling Language: In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between translated language versions of this document, the official English language version shall strictly govern and control.
